Worship

In the Baptismal Covenant, we are asked, “Will you continue in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in the prayers?” and we respond, “I will, with God’s help.”

All (including children) are welcome to worship at St. Mark’s.

Hearing assist devices are available from the ushers.

All who feel called to receive Communion with us are welcome to do so.   If you have difficulty walking, please let an usher know and Communion will be brought to you.

If you prefer to receive a blessing instead of Communion you are encouraged to come to the rail and cross your arms over your chest as a sign of your preference.

Our practice is to administer the sacrament to all, including children if they and their parents wish it. If, as parents, you have questions, please speak with our priest.

If you are seeking the sacrament of baptism for your child or as an adult please contact our parish priest. Rector@stmarksevanston.org
