The Episcopal Diocese of Chicago and St. Mark’s Episcopal Church are holding a one-day pre-Lenten retreat – BECOMING THE STORY WE TELL – on Saturday, January 27 from 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. at St. Mark’s (1509 Ridge Ave., Evanston). The retreat is being led by The Rev. Canon John Hill and The Rev. Debra K. Bullock.
About the Retreat
This one day retreat – Becoming the Story We Tell – is designed for current and future church leaders (lay and ordained) who are interested in helping their congregation re-enter the deep drama of the gospel and reclaim the deep connection between baptism and the story of Christ’s passion. There will be two tracks during the retreat – one for clergy and one for lay leaders.
The cost of the retreat is $20. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
