We
are
the
parish
choir.

The
congregation
is the
GREAT choir.

“The choral experience at St. Mark’s sets it apart.”

Our 10 AM Sunday service is a congregational music experience.
Led by the choir, the entire congregation is invited to lift their voices in song.

Our Music Ministries

  • Adult Choir

A volunteer choir open to anyone who loves to sing, and there are no auditions. Everyone is welcome!

Rehearsals are on Thursday nights at 7:30 pm and Sunday mornings at 9:00 am before the 10:00 am service.

  • Handbell Choir

Certain services include a performance of handbells in the pre- or post-lude. This is a historic tradition preserved in the Episcopal church.

The handbell choir meets twice a month to prepare music to perform in our services. It is open to anyone interested!

  • Parish Bells

St. Mark’s has antique bells that have rung in Evanston since 1864. The podcast Curious City produced an episode that covers this unique piece of history.

  • Concert Series

We host classical concerts throughout the year with a variety of skilled local performers. View our concert page for more information.
